Lovely place. Very good food. Real nice people. Lots of choices. Bring the family. Been there twice while visiting LI. Sent others there and they liked it as well.
Pretty good food and great service, but it is slightly overpriced. I give it a Solid B+ rating. ------ Ambience: B+ Cleanliness: A Customer Service: A Food: B Price: B- Ambiance/Cleanliness Mama Lisa's Pizza has a warm and cozy vibe, perfect for a relaxed meal. The place was spotless, which is always a big plus in my book. The decor was slightly dated, but that's not necessarily a bad thing when it comes to an Italian restaurant. Customer Service The service here is top-notch. Our waitress was super friendly and ensured we were well taken care of without hovering. She got our orders in quickly, and the food came out at a nice pace--no long waits, just the way I like it. Food I went with the chicken Alfredo, and it was pretty good. The portion was generous, which I appreciated. The flavors were solid, though I think it could've used just a bit more seasoning to really make it pop. As for the White Russian I ordered--let's just say they don't skimp on the pour here, and I'm all for it! Price The prices are a tad on the high side for what you get. The food was tasty, but for the price, I was hoping for something a little more flavorful. Still, it won't break the bank, just something to be aware of. Overall Mama Lisa's Pizza is a solid spot with great service and a nice atmosphere. The food was good, the drinks were strong, and the vibe was comfortable. Prices are a bit up there, but I'd still come back when I'm in the mood for some decent chicken alfredo and a well-made cocktail.
The food was really good and everyone was really friendly. We had reservations and were seated on time. Most dishes are about $20 and it's a pretty long menu. It was the first restaurant that I went to that boxes your left over food for you. The With portion of food that get, I think things are fairly priced and it's actually a nice little spot. If you enjoy Italian food then it's a nice place to go for a date night. They also do have a bar. Free parking onsite and a parking lot across the street. I am not sure if parking across the street was free. It seems to get bus around 7pm so plan accordingly
I personally don't understand what the problems are in the other reviews. When I came here, the food was perfect. The staff were super attentive and good at what they do. They served the food quickly and fresh. The ambiance was such a nice touch to the food. It's just definitely 5 stars.
I recently dined inside this restaurant for the first time, having ordered from them for about a year. Accompanied by my staff team, we took advantage of the lunch special, which I found to be remarkably affordable. Priced at around $25 each, the special included a choice of soup or salad along with an entrée. Opting for something different, I ordered the Chicken Francese, a dish I had never tried before. To my pleasant surprise, it was incredibly flavorful, though I hadn't anticipated it being so generously coated in sauce. I selected spaghetti as my side, which was also adorned with the delicious sauce from the chicken dish. While I opted for the salad, some of my team members tried the chicken soup, and everyone unanimously praised the quality and taste of their meals. Although chicken soup isn't usually my preference, it looked irresistible! Our waiter provided attentive and helpful service throughout the meal, enhancing our dining experience. The restaurant offers both booth and table seating, creating a spacious yet intimate atmosphere that I found quite appealing. Two weeks later.. I recently placed an order for a chicken Caesar salad through Yelp from a local restaurant. The description on Yelp indicated that it would include more than just chicken, Caesar dressing, and Parmesan. However, upon picking up my order and returning to work, I discovered that it only contained lettuce, cheese, dressing, and chicken--missing the additional ingredients listed on Yelp. I promptly contacted the restaurant to explain the discrepancy, and they promptly prepared a replacement for me. I made a note for future reference that their Caesar salad doesn't include any extras unless specifically requested. A few days later, I decided to try their Greek salad, which was generously loaded with various toppings, and I found it absolutely delicious. From now on, I'll definitely be ordering the Greek salad whenever I visit the restaurant.
Mama Lisa's is a stylish Italian restaurant where the pizzeria is separate from the main dining area. We have ordered take out numerous times, and the decent quality of food has been consistent. On a week night we had dined in, we were disappointed by the slow service. Our favorites are the chicken Parmesan, shrimp scampi, and penne a la vodka.
